Overview Network Engineer (CCNA) supporting the build-out and deployment of a Secure Development Environment (SDE) for Collins Aerospace. The project spans Richardson, TX and Cedar Rapids, IA and will take approximately one year, divided into deployment and post‑deployment support phases. Responsibilities Build and deploy all networking components for rack/stack services at the client sites. Deploy and support the Secure Development Environment (SDE) during Phase 1 (30‑60 days per site) and Phase 2 (6‑9 months of post‑deployment support). Qualifications CCNA certification (or equivalent). Top Secret clearance and Security+ certification required on day 1. Intermediate level of experience. Proficiency with network architecture, routers, switches, firewalls, BGP, WAN, and data‑center environments. Skills Network engineering Firewall configuration Router/switch management (Cisco and others) WAN, BGP, and data‑center architecture Troubleshooting Compensation & Benefits Contract position based in Richardson, TX. Pay range: $40.00 – $43.00 per hour. All travel and expenses (flights, hotel, rental vehicles) fully covered.
