Denver Health, in Denver, Colorado, is recruiting for pediatricians in Ambulatory Care Services to work as general staff and in a float capacity. Both full time and part time opportunities are available. Denver Health operates 3 large pediatric community health center clinics, 19 school-based health centers (including their co-located behavioral health staff), a variety of community/public health programs overseen by the department (including the mobile health units), nurse family partnership, the community health immunization program, and the SAFE center for children who have suffered from abuse or neglect. The department also provides academic mentorship for outpatient pediatricians working in our pediatric clinics. The department as a whole consists of 75 providers (half of whom are advanced practice providers), a total of 207 staff, and a budget of $45 million to advance the health and wellbeing of our pediatric patients in the Denver metro area. Denver Health provides Level I care for all, regardless of ability to pay and is a model for other safety net institutions across the nation. As Colorado's primary safety net institution, Denver Health is the leading provider of underserved care in the state of Colorado.
