A well-established company in Baltimore is seeking an AR Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. This role focuses on high-volume accounts receivable, cash applications, and managing large customer accounts. This family owned company has been in business for over 50 years and has distribution all over the United States. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with large data sets, solving reconciliation issues, and managing complex AR processes. Responsibilities Manage accounts receivable for a set of customers Perform cash applications and reconcile large remittance files Match payments to invoices and investigate discrepancies Research and resolve skipped invoices and deductions Manage customer claims processes when invoices are unpaid Provide supporting documentation including proof of delivery, invoices, and shipping records Use Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) to reconcile large datasets Work closely with the AR Manager and accounting team Qualifications 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or accounting experience Experience in high-volume AR environments Experience with cash applications and remittance reconciliation Experience working with distribution preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Synergy Search
