What you'll be doing

The Project Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that support the successful delivery of key projects. This role ensures stakeholders are informed, engaged, and aligned by managing internal and external messaging, project updates, documentation, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate excels in both strategic communication planning and hands-on content creation.

You will be responsible for...

  • Create and implement communication plans for specific projects, aligned with organizational goals and timelines.

  • Draft and distribute project-related content including newsletters, updates, presentations, reports, press releases, and internal memos.

  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to gather accurate and timely information.

  • Maintain consistent messaging and branding across all communication platforms.

  • Develop and manage stakeholder lists, distribution schedules, and communication timelines.

  • Organize and support meetings, briefings, and events related to project milestones.

  • Monitor project progress and proactively communicate changes, risks, or successes to stakeholders.

  • Assist with change management and internal engagement strategies during project rollouts.

  • Track communication effectiveness and provide metrics or feedback reports to leadership.

What skills & experience you'll bring to us

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field

  • 2+ years of experience in communications, public affairs, or project support roles

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Mailchimp, Teams, Slack)

  • Experience with content management systems, intranet tools, or visual design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and professionally to varied audiences
