Coda Search is partnering with a fast-growing tech company with offices located in NYC. This firm is a market leader in their space and has grown from 50 people to 200 people over the past few years. The team is looking to hire a Controller who will oversee the month-end close, AP, AR, payroll, and work directly with the VP of Finance. Responsibilities: Lead the month-end close process across multiple entities Prepare intercompany transactions and reconciliations Oversee all cash applications, including AP, AR, and collections Oversee and manage payroll operations for both domestic and global entities Create internal controls and help optimize workflows across the business Work closely with finance on reporting and forecasting Manage T&E programs and implement a scalable expense policy Lead system implementation and process improvement Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and banking relationships Qualifications: 8+ years in accounting or finance, ideally with startup exposure CPA preferred; Big 4 or strong public accounting background a plus Hands-on with ERP implementation experience Can move fast without sacrificing accuracy or control Clear communicator who can translate numbers for non-finance audiences #J-18808-Ljbffr Coda Search│Staffing
