The pediatrician diagnoses and treats diseases and injuries of human internal organ systems of pediatric patients./ph3Essential Functions/h3ulliProvides for the acute and chronic medical and health maintenance care of the pediatric patients and also provides productivity as determined by the Chief Health Officer./liliProvides excellent customer service to the patients./liliProvides after-hours coverage for urgent health care problems for health center patients on a rotational on-call basis (Adult Medicine, Pediatric, and Womens Health)./liliFollows CareSTL Healths QAQI plan./liliWorks with the Chief Medical Officer in providing health care and services at CareSTL Health./li/ulh3Job Requirements and Qualifications/h3ulliBoard certification as a pediatric physician licensed to practice in the state of Missouri required./liliExperience working as a board certified pediatric physician preferred./liliEffective clinical and communication skills./liliMust have reliable transportation./li/ulh3Supervisory Responsibility/h3ulliThis position supervises medical students and residents as needed./liliWorks with support staff to deliver health care to patients./liliMay be asked to serve as a collaborator for nurse practitioner(s) at CareSTL Health./li/ulh3Additional Eligibility Qualifications/h3ulliCopy of license and board certification as a pediatrician, licensed to practice in the state of Missouri./liliCurrent registration with the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry./liliMust maintain hospital-admitting privileges at appropriate hospitals./liliMust meet criteria for Meaningful Use of the Electronic Health Record (EHR)./liliAnnual PPD or chest x-ray completed./liliCOVID-19 vaccination./liliCurrent BLS/CPR Certification as applicable./li/ulh3Additional Information/h3ulliClinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m./lili11 paid holidays per year./liliFull benefits package./liliPublic Service Loan Forgiveness./li/ulpWe believe that health care is right and not a privilege.
