Position Overview Position title: Miscellaneous Lecturer: Audiology Salary range: A reasonable salary range estimate for this position is $4,500 - $5,000 per term. The posted UC academic salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. Position description The University of California, San Diego, Department of Otolaryngology is committed to academic excellence within the faculty, staff, and student body. The UCSD/SDSU Joint Doctoral program in Audiology seeks lecturers to teach a course on Intraoperative Monitoring during the fall, winter, or spring terms. Please refer to the following link for more information regarding the course schedule: Selected candidates will be responsible for teaching a group of approximately ten second‑year AuD students who have basic knowledge of evoked potentials and neuroanatomy. The course will be conducted one day per week for seven weeks (less than a full quarter). A link to the full description of the series is provided for your review: Lecturer - Department: Qualifications Basic qualifications An AuD or PhD degree in a health‑related field. Board certification in Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring. American Audiology Board Certification in Intraoperative Monitoring or certification from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists. A minimum of three years of experience in Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring. Preferred qualifications Candidates with more than a year of teaching experience or more than a year of clinical experience in Intraoperative Monitoring are preferred.
