Job Description The St. Anthony Hotel is seeking a Loss Prevention Officer to join the team. The Loss Prevention Officer maintains a safe and secure environment by performing protective and enforcement functions while coping with emergencies, undesired conduct, disturbances and threats to life and property. Location Located in downtown San Antonio, Texas, the AAA Four Diamond St. Anthony Hotel offers convenient access to nearby restaurants and historic landmarks. Shift Overnight (3rd Shift) Essential Job Responsibilities Patrol the interior and perimeter of the hotel to identify potential safety and security risks. Respond to emergency situations, including safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life or property. Initiate preliminary investigations into incidents as needed. Write reports and ensure accuracy of necessary documentation. Respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolving issues in a timely, friendly manner. Monitor CCTV system. Promote safe work practices. Perform all other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Qualifications Valid security license preferred. At least 6 months of experience as a security/loss prevention agent, preferably in a hotel environment. Knowledge of CCTV systems and computer proficiency.
