Job Description

Job Description

  • Can you design what most people never see-but everyone relies on?
  • Do you light up at the thought of turning airflow, pressure, and temperature into elegant, efficient systems?
  • When someone says "nitrogen generation," do you picture assemblies, sensors, control logic-and the satisfaction of watching your model become a working machine?

If so, join our growing engineering team at Liberty Systems in Waukesha, WI, and build systems that power manufacturers, protect products, and keep critical processes running as an Entry-Level Engineer !

WHAT YOU'LL BUILD & DO AS OUR ENTRY-LEVEL ENGINEER:

  • Own the design of mechanical assemblies and system layouts with 3D CAD (Fusion, SolidWorks, or equivalent).
  • Run practical engineering calculations-pressure drop, flow capacity, and thermal performance-so designs work the first time.
  • Select and integrate components that matter: compressors, filters, dryers, regulators, valves, and sensors.
  • Create and maintain clean technical documentation-P&IDs, BOMs, assembly drawings, and specs that keep teams aligned.
  • Partner with engineers to develop basic control logic, interface layouts, and system monitoring that's intuitive and reliable.
  • Get hands-on with prototype assembly, functional testing, and production validation-see your work come to life.
  • Drive root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement-because good systems get better.
  • Ensure all work aligns with ASME, CSA, and ISO standards and safety practices.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 3+ years of relevant engineering experience (internships, co-ops, or capstone projects acceptable)
  • 3D CAD modeling and drafting experience (Fusion, SolidWorks, or similar)
  • Strong grounding in thermodynamics and fluid flow
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with cross-functional teams

Preferred Extras:

  • Exposure to PSA or membrane nitrogen generation
  • Familiar with Modbus, PLC programming, or HMI design
  • Understanding of CSA B51, NFPA 70/79, and UL/CE compliance
  • Experience with system prototyping, field installations, or test procedures
  • Working knowledge of compressed air, gas systems, or fluid mechanics

This Entry-Level Engineer role is perfect for recent graduates or early-career engineers (0–2 years) eager to learn quickly and contribute immediately-your internships, co-ops, or capstones count as relevant experience here.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE:

  • Pay: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
  • Schedule: full-time Monday through Friday

WHAT ELSE YOU'LL RECEIVE:

  • Health
  • Dental

  • HSA/FSA
  • Paid time off (PTO)
  • Life insurance
  • Short- and long-term disability
  • 401(k) with Company Match
  • Company Parties
  • Growth opportunities
  • Training & career development opportunities
  • Supportive, team-based work culture

COME THRIVE WITH US!
