Job Description

Join our dynamic architecture team as an Architectural Intern (Intern Architect), where your creativity and technical skills will contribute to innovative design solutions and exciting projects. You will collaborate with seasoned professionals, develop your drafting and modeling skills, and participate in project management activities that bring your ideas to life. Key Responsibilities Assist in the development of design concepts, presentations, and construction documents. Produce drawings, models, and renderings using ArchiCAD software. Conduct research on building materials, systems, codes, and zoning regulations. Support project teams in schematic design, design development, and construction documentation phases. Coordinate with internal team members as appropriate. Participate in client meetings and presentations as appropriate. Assist with site analysis, field measurements, and construction administration tasks (e.g., submittal reviews, RFIs, site visits). Maintain organized project files and documentation. Qualifications Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) or currently enrolled in an accredited program. Proficiency in design and documentation software. Basic understanding of construction systems and architectural principles. Strong design, graphic, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Demonstrated interest in architecture through a portfolio or previous internship experience is a plus. Preferred Skills Experience with ArchiCAD (firm’s primary BIM software) is ideal but not required. Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and the Microsoft Suite. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Office-based role located in Boise, Idaho, with a collaborative studio environment.
