   A waitress ensures a positive dining experience by greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area while providing excellent customer service.
   Core Duties
   Greeting and Seating Guests: warmly welcome customers, escort them to their tables, present menus, and explain daily specials or promotions, ensuring a friendly first impression and a smooth start to the dining experience workable.com+2.
   Taking Orders: They listen carefully to customer orders, note special dietary requirements or allergies, provide menu recommendations, and accurately input orders into the POS system to communicate effectively with the kitchen workable.com+2.
   Serving Food and Beverages: Waitresses deliver meals and drinks promptly, ensure orders are correct, maintain presentation standards, and periodically check on tables to refill drinks or address additional needs workable.com+2.
   Ensuring Guest Satisfaction: They monitor customer satisfaction throughout the meal, handle complaints gracefully, provide solutions, and escalate issues to management when necessary to maintain a positive dining experience workable.com+2.
   Processing Payments: Waitresses present bills, handle cash, credit cards, or mobile payments accurately, provide correct change or receipts, and thank guests for their visit  foodandbeverageserviceknowledge.com+1.
