East Mountain Veterinary Service is looking for an energetic, self-starting individual to join our growing fast paced practice. We offer a wide range of services for large and small animals and have a full-service hospital. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, work well with others, able to multi-task, self-starter, and move/learn at a fast pace. Candidate shall be proficient in all aspects of basic animal care to include, but also not limited to animal restraint, administering treatments, taking x-rays; blood draw, insert catheters, run lab tests, and maintain diagnostic equipment. WORK FULL TIME 3 DAYS PER WEEK WITH 4 DAYS OFF! Experience and education preferred, but WILLING TO TRAIN the right candidate. Must be able to stand for 12+ hours per day, climb stairs, bending and lifting 50+lbs, work in extreme heat and cold, withstand sights and smells that are associated with ill/injured animals.
