This position is for a travel Surgical Tech supporting an operating room team in a hospital setting. The schedule runs weekday daytime hours with no guaranteed weekly hours. The assignment begins May 18, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks.

Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile fields and instruments for surgical procedures; assemble, arrange, and maintain supplies for operations
- Pass instruments and assist the surgical team during procedures; maintain strict sterile technique and asepsis
- Manage instrument counts (sponges, needles, and sharps) with the circulating nurse to prevent retained surgical items
- Scrub, gown, and assist with patient draping and positioning as directed; anticipate instrument needs during cases
- Handle specimen transfer and labeling as appropriate; assist with perioperative documentation and equipment turnover
- Ensure proper room turnover, cleaning, and restocking between cases while adhering to safety and infection control policies

Requirements
- 2 years CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) experience (required)
- NCCT certification (required) or documentation demonstrating certification
- Ability to work in a surgical operating room environment with adherence to sterile technique
- Capable of working a weekday daytime schedule in a high-volume OR setting
- Documentation of relevant clinical experience and readiness to comply with area-specific policies
