Qualifications:

• Active certification or licensure as an Operating Room Technician, or equivalent Nursing - ORT credential
• Recent experience in an acute care surgical setting
• Familiarity with operating room protocols and sterile techniques
• Strong interpersonal skills and an adaptable, team-oriented approach
• Current BLS certification is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for surgeries and assist the surgical team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Ensure maintenance of sterile fields and adherence to infection control standards
• Anticipate and fulfill the needs of surgeons and nursing staff during procedures
• Accurately manage instruments, equipment, and supplies throughout surgical cases
• Participate in patient care activities before, during, and after procedures
