Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Licensed Practical Nurse with ORT experience
• Previous experience in an operating room setting preferred
• Excellent knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment
• Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and equipment
• Assist surgeons during procedures, providing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
• Count supplies before and after procedures to maintain accurate inventories
• Ensure patient positioning and comfort prior to and during surgery
• Adhere strictly to infection control policies and protocols
• Support post-operative clean-up and equipment sterilization
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with multidisciplinary team members
