Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (ORT) eager to support high-quality surgical care in a dynamic hospital environment. You will play a critical role in surgical teams, ensuring patient safety and seamless operations in the operating room.

Key Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Active certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST), required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Previous experience in a hospital operating room setting
• Strong understanding of sterile techniques, aseptic practices, and surgical instrumentation
• Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and maintain focus in fast-paced situations
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Schedule:

• Full-time contract position
• Shifts and hours will vary depending on department needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments, sterile supplies, and equipment
• Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
• Maintain a sterile field and follow strict infection control protocols
• Perform surgical counts with the circulating nurse to ensure safety
• Properly handle and care for surgical instruments and specialty equipment
• Support room turnover between cases, including thorough cleaning and setup
• Participate in ongoing training and adhere to hospital policies and regulations
