Evening Shift Lead – Liquor Store

Location: Dunwoody, GA
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Pay: Starting at $16–$19/hour (based on experience)

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced, motivated Evening Shift Lead to join our team at a fast-growing, customer-focused liquor store. This is a leadership position for someone who enjoys managing people, providing excellent customer service, staying current on wine, beer, bourbon, tequila, and spirits, and helping grow our social media presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the evening shift team.
• Coach employees and ensure excellent customer service.
• Open and/or close the store following company procedures.
• Handle customer questions and make product recommendations.
• Train new employees on store operations and product knowledge.
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked shelves.
• Assist with merchandising, displays, and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with all alcohol laws and company policies.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
• Take photos and videos of new products, tastings, promotions, and events.
• Help plan and promote in-store events and exclusive product releases.
• Stay knowledgeable about bourbon, whiskey, tequila, wine, beer, RTDs, and new industry trends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of liquor store experience (required).
• Previous experience leading or supervising a team preferred.
• Strong knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, and allocated products.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable creating social media content and engaging with customers online.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and remain on your feet throughout the shift.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
