We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Dallas, Texas. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. Job Responsibilities Applies knowledge of financial damages and measures of lost profits to develop financial models to assist clients in the preparation of losses in either an insurance or litigation context. Ability to synthesize and analyze large data sets and complex business models across diverse industry sectors and to create work products that can be readily digested and scrutinized. Ability to communicate complex analysis to clients, insurers and other senior stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills to enable strong business level conversations in adversarial settings of claims settlement, litigation, and dispute resolution. Ability to manage multiple engagements, participate actively in client discussions and contribute to the practice in driving superior results for our clients. Willingness to participate in initiatives to develop deep industry expertise in key industry sectors (Energy, Mining, Financial Services, Healthcare, Technology, Communications and others). Willingness to help drive wider practice initiatives in the adoption of technology and driving increased operational efficiency of the practice. Willingness to travel for engagements as necessary. Qualifications Graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, and either hold a CPA license or are in the process of obtaining one. 3+ years with general accounting and finance terms and concepts, as well as with income statements, profit and loss statements, 10‑Ks, and other common financial documentation. Advanced level of proficiency with MS Excel (including VBA), skills in SQL or other database experience is a plus, visualization/analytics applications is a plus. Strong project management skills - ability to identify, collect, and organize data needed for all projects, and ability to coordinate with brokers, account teams, and other teams in the Analytics and Consulting Practice. What makes you stand out Strong presentation skills - ability to translate results of data analysis into easy-to-understand recommendations for client risk decision-making, and ability to produce oral presentations and written reports in a concise and detailed manner. Experience with building financial models - examples include projecting revenues, creating pro‑forma operating results, and non‑traditional enterprise risk modeling. Preferred: Knowledge of commercial insurance programs - including mainstream property policies and ideally specialty insurance (examples include Cyber, Product Recall, Fidelity and Stock Throughput).
