As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Sulphur, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control professional at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in the job state. You will remain visible, help to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service through teamwork, integrity, and clear communication.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, badge protocols, and other security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitor registrations, and document deliveries and/or contractor access in support of authorized site access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Prepare clear reports of daily activities, access control events, and incident observations, and support Allied Universal and site management with accurate documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of 1 year of law enforcement experience, or a minimum of 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or a minimum of 3 years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
