Role Description
MK Homes is seeking a full-time Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our apartment and rental home portfolio. The role is on-site and will be responsible for managing leasing activity, tenant communication, rent collection, property inspections, maintenance coordination, vendor relationships, and overall property performance. The Property Manager will work closely with ownership and the maintenance team to ensure properties are well-maintained, occupancy remains strong, tenant issues are handled professionally, and operational standards are consistently met.
Responsibilities include supervising and coordinating maintenance staff, showing available units, assisting with lease renewals, managing move-ins and move-outs, tracking work orders, addressing tenant inquiries, coordinating repairs and vendor services, monitoring property conditions, supporting collection efforts, and helping maintain accurate records through property management software.
Qualifications
Strong property management, leasing, or real estate operations experience
Experience with lease administration, rent collection, renewals, and tenant communication
Ability to coordinate maintenance requests, vendors, inspections, and repairs
Strong communication skills with tenants, contractors, staff, and ownership
Excellent organization, follow-up, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple properties, priorities, and tenant issues at one time
Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced property management environment
Proficiency with property management software, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools
Knowledge of landlord-tenant rules, fair housing requirements, and local housing regulations preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field preferred but not required
