Job Description

Project Manager

Dallas, TX

Compensation: $100,000-$115,000

A respected architecture and design practice in Dallas is looking to add a Project Manager to its growing team. This is a high-impact opportunity for a registered architect who wants to lead meaningful projects, work alongside a collaborative group of professionals, and play a visible role in shaping the built environment across Dallas and beyond.

This role is well suited to someone who enjoys the full lifecycle of project delivery - from early planning and client coordination through technical documentation and construction administration. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, sound technical judgment, and the ability to keep projects moving with confidence, clarity, and accountability.

Why consider this opportunity

This is more than a standard Project Manager role. It offers the chance to join an established firm with a strong reputation, a steady pipeline of work, and a practice environment where experienced professionals are trusted to lead.

Candidates who step into this role can expect:

  • Leadership and ownership across projects, with the ability to influence outcomes and make a visible contribution.
  • Varied, technically interesting work, particularly for those with experience in industrial, warehouse, or other technical project types.
  • A collaborative studio culture where teamwork, professionalism, and quality are highly valued.
  • The opportunity to continue building a long-term career in Dallas, with strong exposure to clients, consultants, and project teams.
  • A competitive salary range of $100,000-$115,000, reflecting the importance of the role and the experience required.
  • A platform for professional growth within a stable and well-regarded architecture practice.

The role

The Project Manager will lead projects through all phases of design and delivery while serving as a key liaison between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams. This person will help ensure that schedules, budgets, technical standards, and client expectations are aligned throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading projects from programming and schematic design through construction documents and construction administration.
  • Managing client communication and maintaining strong working relationships throughout each engagement.
  • Coordinating internal project teams and external consultants to support accurate, timely, and well-integrated deliverables.
  • Developing and monitoring project schedules, budgets, scope, and staffing requirements.
  • Overseeing technical drawing packages, documentation standards, and quality control.
  • Supporting permitting, bidding, contractor coordination, and construction-phase communication.
  • Identifying issues early and driving practical solutions related to design, documentation, schedule, or constructability.
  • Mentoring team members and contributing to a positive, accountable, high-performance environment.

What the firm is looking for

The ideal candidate is a registered architect who is confident leading projects, communicating with stakeholders, and managing competing priorities in a deadline-driven setting. This person brings both technical strength and professionalism, along with the ability to guide teams and build trust with clients.

Qualifications include:

  • Registered Architect required.
  • Demonstrated experience working as a Project Manager in an architecture firm.
  • Strong knowledge of project delivery, consultant coordination, construction documentation, and contract administration.
  • Revit proficiency is required.
  • Experience with industrial, warehouse, or technical project types is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with applicable codes, permitting processes, and construction standards.

What this opportunity offers

For the right candidate, this role provides the chance to take on meaningful responsibility in a firm where quality work and strong relationships matter. It is an opportunity to deepen your project leadership experience, work on impactful assignments, and continue building your career in the Dallas architecture market.

In addition to a salary range of $100,000-$115,000, the role offers the professional advantages that come with joining a stable, design-driven practice in Dallas. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who wants to grow within a respected architecture firm while working on challenging and rewarding projects.
