Position: Production Test Operator

Job Type : Temp to hire

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 depending on experience

Hours: 1st shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Location : South Elgin, IL

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Test Operator to perform functional testing on printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) to ensure proper operation and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic electrical and/or optical testing on production assemblies
• Operate standard test equipment, meters, fixtures, and tools
• Follow detailed test procedures and work instructions
• Accurately record test results and data in required systems
• Identify and report test failures to the Test Lead or Supervisor
• Learn and apply basic troubleshooting techniques
• Follow all safety, quality, and ESD procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Basic computer skills and data entry accuracy
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
• Good hand dexterity and visual acuity (close, distance, depth perception)

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing / production floor setting
