Position Summary
Abelle Homecare LLC is seeking an experienced and professional PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to perform in-home client assessments for prospective and active home care clients. This position plays a vital role in evaluating client needs, developing appropriate recommendations for care, and ensuring compliance with Maryland home care standards.
This opportunity is ideal for an RN seeking flexible supplemental income while utilizing strong clinical judgment and assessment skills in a community-based setting.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive in-home client assessments and reassessments
• Evaluate clients’ physical, cognitive, emotional, and functional care needs
• Develop and document assessment findings accurately and thoroughly
• Collaborate with agency leadership regarding care recommendations and service needs
• Ensure all documentation complies with agency standards, HIPAA regulations, and Maryland home care requirements
• Identify changes in client condition and communicate concerns promptly
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compassionate client interactions at all times
Qualifications
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland
• Minimum of 3–5 years of nursing experience required
• Prior home care, home health, case management, hospice, or community based nursing experience strongly preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage assignments efficiently
• Professional demeanor with a compassionate, client-focused approach
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required for local travel
Required Credentials & Documentation
• Current Maryland RN license in good standing
• CPR/BLS certification
• Government-issued photo identification
• Current TB test or chest X-ray documentation
• Professional resume
• Two professional references
Compensation & Schedule
• $125 per completed assessment
• Flexible PRN scheduling
• Independent, low-volume assessment-based role
