We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join a premier heavy industrial manufacturing team in New Braunfels. This role focuses on the fabrication and assembly of large-scale "plug-and-play" modular units, including massive pipe systems and equipment used globally in the energy and gas industries.

If you are looking for a role where you build substantial, complex industrial systems—not just small parts—this is the opportunity for you. You will work from detailed blueprints to ensure every fit-up meets high-pressure, X-ray quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Build piping systems ranging from $1/4"$ to $24"$ in diameter using carbon and stainless steel.
• Interpret and follow Isometric drawings, P&IDs (Process and Instrumentation Diagrams), and General Arrangement drawings.
• Fit and install piping connected to industrial pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and filter systems.
• Ensure fit-ups meet AWS welding standards and are precise enough for X-ray quality welds .
• Utilize pipe bevelers, threading machines, alignment tools, grinders, and various hand tools. Shop Assist with structural steel fitting, equipment installation, bolting/torque work, and general fabrication as needed.
• Maintain accurate weld tracking and material identification; communicate quality data to the QC department.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional pipe fitting or heavy industrial fabrication experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven ability to read blueprints/Isometrics and use fabrication machinery.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand, bend, or kneel throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a heavy fabrication shop environment (noise, fumes, and active welding).
• Must provide and wear required PPE, including steel-toe boots.
