Opportunity:

MD - Radiation Oncology

Job Details:

• Function independently to provide high quality patient care in a collaborative and patient-centric manner


• Provide care in various settings including direct patient interaction in hospital/clinic, telephone, video, or secure email when appropriate


• Gather patient history, conduct physical exams, review prior records, and analyze ancillary data using sound judgment and critical problem-solving skills


• Develop and monitor appropriate treatment plans while communicating effectively with patients, families, and care teams


• Deliver efficient and compassionate care utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach through communication, continuity, coordination, and evaluation


• Provide relevant education and counseling to patients and families to support care plans, treatment, and discharge


• Collaborate with healthcare team members, leadership, and medical staff to ensure safe patient care


• Assist collaborating physicians with patient management consistent with care site policies and approved scope of practice


• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and practice metrics with proper documentation


• May be required to float to other departments based on business needs and be placed on-call during scheduled shifts


• Must have MD or DO degree from fully accredited medical school with residency training in specialty area


• Requires valid state medical license, board certification/eligibility, valid DEA, and BLS/ACLS certification
