Lemons Therapy LLC is a fast-growing hybrid cash-based Physical Therapy practice. We provide physical therapy services at competitive out of pocket rates and are in network with Medicare. We bill Medicare in clinic and provide our cash-based patients with an itemized statement after their care. These patients then have the option to submit it to their insurance company if they wish for potential reimbursement and/or application towards their deductible.

We are currently seeking a Full Time or Part Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) that is licensed in Kansas to treat patients in our outpatient clinic in Fairview, KS as well as provide in home therapy on occasion.

Responsibilities:

• Provides therapy services in accordance with physician’s orders and accepted professional practices.
• Administers various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan including but not limited to: manual techniques; ambulation; therapeutic exercises; modalities; use of supportive and assistive devices; etc. Under the supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist
• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions
• Documents observations, patient’s response to skilled interventions/treatment programs, degree of progress and notable changes in patient’s condition within specific timeframes as well as communicates findings with supervising Physical Therapist
• Completes all documentation required timely and in accordance with state and federal regulations and policies/guidelines.
• Completes all billing required on the date of the provided skilled services, and in accordance with all state and federal regulations, policies/guidelines.
• Assists with maintaining both the rehab gym equipment and treatment area in a safe manner, using good infection prevention methods.

Requirements:

• Must hold Kansas license/certification for appropriate discipline: PTA.
• Must possess strong oral and written communication skills. Organizational and analytical skills required.
• Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers.
• Demonstrates the skill set of time management and organization
• Demonstrated ability to utilize independent and effective clinical judgment, problem-solving and decision making skills.
• Meet physical requirements to deliver responsibilities.
• Successful completion of hiring process / background check.
