Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate L.P.N. office nurse to join our busy pediatric healthcare team. In this role, you will engage in direct pediatric nursing care in an office setting, ensuring the well-being of patients while supporting the overall operations of our practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate excellent communication skills, with a focus on patient education and advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and document medical histories accurately.
• Administer children's immunizations, medications and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist in diagnostic evaluations and specimen collection processing.
• Provide education to patients, parents and caregivers through direct and telephone communications.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems to document vaccines given, plot height, weight, and BMI etc.
• Participate in and maintain a clean, organized work environment as well as keeping patient exam rooms clean and stocked with appropriate medical supplies.

Experience
Candidates must be motivated, dependable, and willing to multi-task on a daily basis.
