At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Multimedia Specialist Senior, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on these skillsets to ensure flawless planning and execution of all VTC-related activities. How a Multimedia Specialist Senior Will Make an Impact Design, implement, integrate, test, and make operational the control and distribution systems for all AV/VTC systems supporting the customer. Possess extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in engineering conference rooms, webcasting, IPTV, and streaming video systems. Assist project management, customers, and key stakeholders with cutting over AV/VTC systems. Collaborate with system programmers on AV/VTC integration and testing to ensure control system hardware and software meet performance metrics. Provide project closeout documentation, including as-built drawings and a technical acceptance report. What You’ll Need to Succeed Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience Required Skills and Abilities: Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with VTC Codecs, audio mixers, control systems, AV automation, wiring, amplifiers, microphones, projection systems, video cameras, and other A/V peripheral equipment. Ability to effectively conduct and interpret tests and troubleshoot highly complex operational problems. Ability to identify and resolve problems or inadequacies in systems operations. Strong business communication skills with strong verbal communications to interface effectively. Certification: CRMC or an equivalent video certification required Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI required Preferred Skills: ITIL v3 Foundation certification preferred Cisco Telepresence experience preferred but not required Strong customer service focus Detail-oriented and organized, able to understand AV/VTC systems and ensure accuracy of work.
