Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Current RN or LPN license in the state of practice.
Experience with MDS assessments and knowledge of CMS regulations.
Certification in MDS coordination or related field.
Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents to complete the MDS documentation accurately.
Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other departments to gather necessary patient information.
Train and educate staff on MDS processes, updates, and compliance requirements.
Analyze MDS data to identify trends and recommend improvements in patient care.
Ensure timely submission of MDS assessments to meet regulatory deadlines.
