As a Locksmith, you will support Florida based DX Experience operations by maintaining, repairing, and managing locking systems that help keep our environment safe, secure, and operational. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, problem-solving, and teamwork. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of locking systems and exit device systems, including Yale, Medeco, Von Duprin, Schlage, Russwin, Peak and similar door hardware. Cut keys on key cutting machine from manufacturers code. Ability to install or remove lock cylinders from mortise, cylindrical and padlocks for repairs or modification. Installing cabinet locks as well as retrofitting various door hardware for themed installations. Experience with pinning Medeco, Schlage and Peak key cores. Experience with maintaining large-scale master-key systems. Diagnose issues, recommend and perform repairs to ensure locking systems meet operational, ADA, fire safety and building code standards. Communicate effectively with team members, conduct audit surveys and provide guidance or training as needed. Basic Qualifications Minimum of four (4) years of recent experience as a Locksmith. Demonstrated knowledge of master keying high-security lock systems. Demonstrated knowledge of entry and exit systems as it relates to standards and codes. Experience installing, repairing, and maintaining lock hardware and exit devices. Intermediate computer skills with hands‑on experience. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Strong mechanical aptitude. Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication skills, including the ability to train others. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of safety and building standards and codes. Manufacturer training certification. ALOA certification. Additional Information Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Schedules and start times are subject to vary.
