The firm is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Polish speaking Legal Assistant to join their dynamic team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to a collaborative legal environment and support attorneys in delivering exceptional service to clients. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to attorneys, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and maintaining calendars. Prepare and format legal documents, including pleadings, correspondence, and discovery materials. File documents with courts and ensure compliance with court deadlines. Assist with case management by organizing files, tracking case progress, and maintaining client records. Conduct basic legal research and compile information relevant to cases. Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals on behalf of attorneys. Manage billing and invoicing tasks, including tracking attorney time and client expenses. Assist in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and preparing trial binders. Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant in Plaintiff Personal Injury in a litigation support role. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal practice management software. Familiarity with Illinois court procedures and e-filing systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
