With our continued growth, and expansion into the US Market, we're seeking Junior Video Editor to join our Creative team in our Morgantown, PA offices, located just a mile off PA Turnpike exit 298. The Junior Video Editor will assist in the production of video and motion graphic content that promotes products, supports marketing initiatives, and strengthens brand storytelling across multiple platforms. Essential Duties and Responsibilities While adhering to Joie’s established templates and guidelines for production and process: Edit video content using provided footage, photography, graphics, music, dialogue, and sound effects while maintaining established brand and creative guidelines. Assist in the editing of a wide range of video content including product videos, marketing campaigns, interviews, testimonials, training materials, and short-form social media content. Create and modify motion graphics, titles, and simple animations to support video storytelling and brand messaging. Collaborate closely with creative and brand team members, accepting feedback and incorporating revisions throughout the production process. Support the creation of social media content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other digital channels by applying current editing techniques, transitions, and visual effects. Adapt video and motion graphic assets for international regions by incorporating provided translations, localized messaging, and regional formatting requirements. Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Maintain organized project files, media assets, and version control throughout the production process. Continuously develop technical and creative skills while staying informed about emerging video, social media, and motion graphics trends. Requirements and Qualifications Education, Experience & Knowledge Once (1) to three (3) years of professional, internship, freelance, academic, or equivalent experience in video editing, multimedia production, or motion graphics. Experience creating content for digital and social media platforms through academic, personal, freelance, or professional projects. Basic understanding of video production and post-production workflows, including media organization, editing, exporting, codecs, frame rates, and audio standards. Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects required; experience with Premiere Pro, Photoshop, or other creative software preferred. Familiarity with social media video formats and platforms including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Familiarity with motion graphics, visual effects, compositing, or 3D animation is a plus. Experience within consumer products, marketing, or brand content creation is a plus. Portfolio, demo reel, or examples of video editing and motion graphics work required. Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills & Competencies Understanding of current short-form video trends and techniques that help engage digital audiences. Ability to apply platform-specific formatting and creative considerations across digital and social media channels. Effective communication and collaboration skills, including strong listening skills and the ability to incorporate constructive feedback in a creative team environment. Understanding established brand standards and style guidelines and the ability to maintain them. Creative problem‑solving skills to support visual storytelling and design objectives. Strong organizational and time‑management skills, including the ability to manage multiple assignments, maintain media assets and file structure, and keep project documentation organized. Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and ability to work independently while seeking guidance when appropriate. Collaborative team player who is open to learning, receptive to feedback, and committed to continuous improvement. Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines. Technology Proficient with Full Adobe Suite on Mac systems, especially After Effects and Premiere Pro. Photoshop, Illustrator skills, a plus. Basic Microsoft Office Suite (including PowerPoint). Project management software (Wrike or ASANA preferred) Familiar with: Corporate travel systems, Navan preferred. Corporate credit card management software, BILL Spend & Expense preferred. Payroll systems, Paycom preferred. Latest standards of post‑production systems. Ability to quickly and proficiently learn new software with ease. Other As business needs warrant: Domestic and International travel of up to 5%. Work extended hours may on occasion include nights and weekends. Valid Passport and Driver’s License. Ability to, on occasion, lift and carry minimum weight of 40 lbs.
