Human Resources Manager

Full-Time | Human Resources / People Operations

Perferred locations ( Atlanta, GA area, Conover NC , for office visits )

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support the employee experience across both our corporate workforce and temporary employee population . This is a hands-on HR operations role responsible for onboarding, employee relations, performance management, recruiting support, HR systems, compliance, engagement, reporting, and offboarding.

Because this position will work heavily within our staffing technology environment, prior Avionté experience is required . The ideal candidate understands the fast-paced nature of the staffing industry and is comfortable managing multiple employee populations, systems, deadlines, and HR priorities simultaneously.

The role expands upon our current People & Culture responsibilities, including onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, recruitment support, Avionté data maintenance, Ringover oversight, temporary employee support, unemployment processes, and Monday.com task management.

Key ResponsibilitiesHR Operations & Employee Experience

• Serve as a primary HR resource for both internal and temporary employees .
• Provide day-to-day HR support and respond to employee questions, concerns, and workplace matters.
• Support temporary employees with benefits education, available services, policies, and issue resolution.
• Conduct employee relations conversations and maintain appropriate documentation.
• Coordinate employee offboarding across applicable systems.
• Conduct exit interviews and ensure appropriate documentation is retained.
• Process unemployment claims and related follow-up.
• Coordinate and process garnishment-related documentation for active and inactive employees.

Onboarding & New Hire Support

• Oversee and continuously improve the new hire onboarding experience.
• Conduct regular check-ins with new hires to ensure successful transitions.
• Support and train onboarding specialists and serve as an escalation point for questions.
• Audit onboarding completion and identify gaps or opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain accurate job descriptions and employee documentation.
• Support both corporate and temporary employee onboarding initiatives.

Recruitment Operations

• Support internal recruiting efforts from job posting through candidate communication.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate follow-up.
• Assist with job postings and recruitment pipeline management.
• Review recruitment pipelines and help identify outstanding hiring needs.
• Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to maintain an organized candidate experience.

Performance Management & Employee Development

• Coordinate 90-day and annual performance review cycles .
• Track review completion, outstanding evaluations, and manager follow-up.
• Partner with managers on performance coaching and employee development plans.
• Support the development and tracking of employee growth plans.
• Assist leadership with employee performance documentation when needed.
• Coordinate internal harassment prevention and workplace training.

Culture, Engagement & Wellness

• Develop and support employee engagement, recognition, and team-building initiatives.
• Coordinate HR events, wellness initiatives, and employee programs.
• Prepare and distribute the monthly HR Newsletter .
• Support initiatives designed to strengthen employee retention and overall employee experience.
• Review engagement results and recommend improvements.
• Assist with annual engagement and retention planning.

Systems, Reporting & Compliance

• Manage HR-related projects and requests through Monday.com .
• Manage and monitor Ringover , including employee onboarding/offboarding and CSR performance metrics.
• Conduct performance audits and test calls when needed.
• Process and monitor WOTC requirements.
• Support monthly and annual HR reporting..
• Support PAI reporting and new hire reporting as a backup.
• Assist with annual compliance reporting, audits, and 5500-related processes.
• Maintain organized HR records and ensure required information is captured across applicable systems.

Required Qualifications

• Previous hands-on Avionté experience is required.
• 3+ years of progressive Human Resources, People Operations, or HR management experience.
• Experience managing employee relations matters.
• Experience supporting onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and recruitment.
• Strong HRIS/database management and employee recordkeeping skills.
• Experience handling confidential and sensitive employee information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate HR documentation.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with managers, recruiters, payroll, onboarding, and senior leadership.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Strongly Preferred

• Staffing agency or temporary workforce experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Avionté Front Office and employee/assignment management.
• Experience supporting both corporate and temporary employees.
• Experience with Monday.com, Ringover, WOTC, unemployment claims, garnishments, and HR reporting.
• Knowledge of multi-state HR practices and employment compliance.
• Experience coordinating employee engagement and training programs.

What Success Looks Like

The successful Human Resources Manager will keep HR operations organized, employees supported, and data accurate. This individual will be proactive rather than reactive, comfortable working directly inside Avionté, and able to identify problems before they become larger HR or compliance issues.

They will serve as a dependable partner to employees, recruiters, managers, payroll, onboarding, and leadership while helping create a consistent employee experience from recruitment and onboarding through performance management and offboarding .
