Grant Writer

Location: Dallas, TX or Remote Duration: 6 months + Remote: If located in Dallas-Fort Worth area, hybrid work 3x per week in office. The Grant Writer role will work on a dynamic team responsible for compilation, submission and start to finish ownership of approved programs. As a grant writer, the candidate will be responsible for developing narrative responses for a multitude of different projects in the grants space.

What you'll do:

• Develop and enhance the responses for the RFPs, RFIs, RFQs and grants targeted by our organization
• Draft outlines, narratives, and revise narratives for RFx bids and grants
• Review and edit other team member's narratives for use of consistent terms and formatting
• Review proposal sections for technical and grammatical accuracy
• Participate in the overall quality, compliance, and completeness of each opportunity response

What you'll need:

• Experience reviewing and completing RFPs, proposals, grants and technical writing.
• 1+ year(s) of experience working in community development, economic development, or telecommunications space.
• Must be highly organized, willing to work across the business enterprise, able to prioritize tasking, perform in a multi-tasked and dynamic environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
• Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
