Akkodis is seeking a Golang/Python +AWS Developer for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX (Remote). The ideal candidate is responsible for responsible for building scalable, high‑performance backend systems and cloud‑native applications.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Golang/Python +AWS Developer Job Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high‑performance backend services using Golang/Python.
Build and manage RESTful APIs, microservices, and background workers, ensuring reliability and performance.
Deploy, monitor, and operate cloud‑native applications using AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, ECS, and CloudWatch.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CodePipeline, or GitHub Actions.
Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure system stability.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product) in an Agile/Scrum environment while writing clean, maintainable code and performing code reviews.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong hands‑on expertise in Golang (with Python exposure) and building scalable backend services.
Proven experience working with AWS cloud services, including deploying, monitoring, and optimizing cloud‑native applications using CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
