Job Title: General Laborer / Packer – Day and Night Shifts Job Description
This role supports a high-volume food manufacturing operation by safely and efficiently packaging tortillas, operating packaging equipment, and maintaining strict compliance with food safety and quality standards. You will prepare and run packaging lines, complete changeovers, accurately record production data, and collaborate closely with team members to meet productivity and quality goals on both day and night shifts.

Work EnvironmentThe facility is a world-class, SQF-certified manufacturing plant dedicated to producing heat-pressed, hand-stretched flour and corn tortillas. Located in Caldwell, Idaho, the operation has more than four decades of experience and produces approximately 5 million tortillas per day, serving customers worldwide. The environment is fast-paced, high-volume, and highly regulated, with a strong emphasis on food safety, sanitation, and quality. Team members work with modern manufacturing and packaging equipment, ERP systems, TGI Machine Logs, RF guns, and metal detection and pH verification tools. Shifts include both day and night schedules, with flexibility in assignments and frequent line rotations. The facility promotes good housekeeping practices, clean and organized workstations, and adherence to SQF and GMP standards. The workplace operates as a drug-free environment, and candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and a job placement assessment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Caldwell, ID.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.60 - $18.10/hr.
