Craftsmen Contractors is seeking experienced Demo Laborers for the Melbourne, Florida area. This is for a commercial project working day shifts, Monday through Friday. Must pass a criminal background check.

Pay is $17/hour.

Weekly pay

Job duties include the following:

• Moving materials to the worksite and ensuring all tools, machinery, and other equipment are safely set up.
• Perform various manual duties to tear down and remove unsound structures and building elements.
• Clean up demolition and jobsite debris.
• Remove debris and load it into containers.
• Obeying health and safety codes, as well as the company's principles.
• Removing hazardous materials from sites.
• Ensuring tasks are completed by deadlines.

Requirements:

• Should have at least 1 year of experience working in construction.
• Will need to have all PPE and reliable transportation to make it to the job site.
• Sound knowledge of construction and practical experience with tools.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
• A good understanding of safety procedures.
• Great hand, eye, and foot coordination.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and be flexible.
• Positive attitude and great interpersonal skills.
• Must pass a background check.
