They’ve launched a new service supporting ex‑offenders in the community, helping them rebuild their lives. The Hub offers wellness rooms, a gym, a music studio, pool tables, doughnuts, news debates on Wednesdays and a welcoming and supportive environment where you could spend an afternoon with a book. Responsibilities Welcoming participants as they arrive and conducting all required safety checks to keep the Hub running smoothly. Managing bookings and referrals via email, phone or self‑referrals. Handling petty cash for travel expenses or small purchases and maintaining accurate records. Gathering feedback from participants through surveys or follow‑ups to ensure their needs are met. Monitoring CCTV, controlling access to restricted areas and ensuring overall security. Ordering supplies such as stationery or refreshments to keep the Hub well‑stocked. Ensuring the Hub complies with Health and Safety and other guidelines by checking equipment and maintaining fire extinguishers and first aid kits. Qualifications Genuine interest in criminal justice and supporting rehabilitation. Experience on a similar project with vulnerable clients or a demonstrable history of working with or volunteering for ex‑offenders. Strong organisational skills and proven administrative experience. Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with a range of people.
