Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join a respected law firm in Hackensack, NJ . This role will support attorneys in a broad range of corporate matters and transactions, working closely with legal teams on governance, business planning, and financial and transactional work.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with corporate governance matters, including entity formation, maintenance, and corporate records.
• Prepare and file organizational documents, resolutions, and related corporate filings.
• Support corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, financings, and other business transactions.
• Maintain corporate minute books and manage corporate records.
• Conduct research and assist with business planning and financial documentation.
• Coordinate document preparation and manage deadlines to support attorneys and clients.
• Communicate with internal teams, clients, and external agencies as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate paralegal experience in governance, business planning, financial, and transactional matters.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel .
• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate required.

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package . Salary is commensurate with experience and expected to range from $76,500 to $179,000 annually .
