Responsibilities
· Provide daily pet care routines including feeding, administering medications, and maintaining hygiene standards
· Engage pets with stimulating activities such as walks, playtime, and training exercises like dog training techniques
· Handle animals safely using proper restraint and handling techniques to ensure their well-being and your safety
· Monitor pet behavior and health, reporting any concerns or veterinary needs promptly
· Maintain detailed records of each pet’s care schedule, health status, and special instructions
· Assist with grooming tasks such as brushing or bathing pets to keep them clean and comfortable
Qualifications
· Proven experience with animal handling, pet sitting, or kennel work; veterinary technician or assistant experience is highly valued
· Knowledge of dog training methods and veterinary procedures to support pet behavior and health management
· Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and address their concerns confidently
· Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy items or animals while maintaining safety standards
· Excellent animal care skills combined with patience, compassion, and attention to detail
· Valid experience in veterinary or animal care environments demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of pet needs
