The Griffing Group is seeking an experienced professional who will provide business valuation and economic damages analysis for M&A/shareholder litigation, corporate planning, estate planning, tax disputes, and other high-profile consulting engagements. Founded in 1990, we are a nationally renowned firm trusted by attorneys, corporations, and high net worth individuals to deliver the highest quality valuation and damages reports and expert witness testimony. We are seeking candidates who are self-starters, intellectually curious, and eager for the opportunity to partner with industry-leading professionals in a collaborative, boutique consulting environment. We are considering Chicago-based applicants for a hybrid (office/home) schedule, and other U.S.-based candidates for a fully-remote schedule. Responsibilities Build sophisticated valuation models Analyze financial statements and conduct industry research Conduct due diligence interviews with corporate executives and owners/investors Prepare valuation reports and deliver presentations to clients Review and organize key discovery documents in litigation engagements Analyze reports prepared by opposing experts Assist experts from our firm in writing expert reports and preparing for expert witness testimony Support the firm's business development and marketing activities Required Qualifications Three or more years of recent, full-time experience in business valuation is required. Experience with litigation assignments is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required. Graduate degree and/or relevant professional credential are preferred (e.g., ABV, ASA, CFA, CPA, CVA). Ability to adapt in situations where scope of work, deliverables, and deadlines can shift mid-project Excellent verbal and written skills Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Ability to travel to client sites ( Living in the U.S. and able to work without needing employer sponsorship for visa status #J-18808-Ljbffr Griffing Group
