About the Role:

We are seeking a Box Truck Driver to join our team at Finetco. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting materials and products to and from our facility, as well as performing yard work duties to ensure the efficient operation of our lumber yard. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Non-expired DOT medical health card
• Ability to operate a box truck, pick up truck, and other yard equipment
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and perform physical labor as needed
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety procedures and regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a similar role, such as driving a box truck or working in a lumber yard
• Forklift certification
• Experience with inventory management and organization
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities:

• Operate a box truck to transport materials and products to and from our facility
• Perform yard work duties such as loading and unloading materials, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Skills:

As a Box Truck Driver/Yard Worker, you will use your driving skills to safely transport materials and products to and from our facility. You will also use your organizational skills to perform yard work duties such as loading and unloading materials, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Additionally, you will use your communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be essential in this role, as you will be responsible for following all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
