Box/Container Driver - Non-CDLUSA Waste and RecyclingUSA Waste and Recycling, IncPosition Summary:The Box/Container Driver - Non/CDL is responsible for safely operating a heavy-duty truck to deliver/remove permanent trash/cardboard dumpsters and service temporary construction dumpsters. This position is responsible for efficiently servicing assigned customers while complying with local, state, and federal transportation regulations and with Company policies.Your Role:Driving safely and efficiently to complete assigned routes accurately and on time.Service, clean, and maintain dumpsters.Empty vehicle at disposal siteStay in radio contact with and respond to requests from the dispatcher.Participate in all required Company meetings, including weekly safety meetings.Assist other Drivers with Routes when directed.Pre- and post-trip inspection and reportComplete route workWork all assigned shifts from the scheduled start time to the scheduled end time.Take an active role in the improvement of safety and health in the workplace.Receive complaints from customers and report issues with problems professionally to Dispatch.Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.Your Skills: Customer-focused.Safety, knowledge, and focusedProfessional in appearance and demeanorRespectful of Company vehicles and equipmentQuality-orientedReliable and dependableAble to adapt to changing work requirements on a daily and hourly basis.Exceptional driving skillsAbility to read and write logs, reports, orders, maps, etc.Grit, outgoing, and eager to learn.The environment is fast-paced, and the person in this role must be proactive, hardworking, highly organized, and an independent critical thinker.Requirements: Driver's LicenseAcceptable driving recordAble to meet all DOT requirements.At least 21 years of ageBasic mechanical knowledgeThis Position Features:Family-Oriented EnvironmentExcellent Benefits and Bonus PotentialPhysical Demands:Listed below are key points regarding the job's environmental demands and work environment.
