Robert Half Contracts Finance and Accounting division is seeking a bookkeeper to help a securities and investigation company in the Folsom area! This company is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their small team and handle tasks such as:
Manage accounts payable by entering vendor bills, tracking due dates, and processing payments (checks, ACH, or online bill pay) in QuickBooks to maintain good vendor relationships and avoid late fees.
Handle accounts receivable by creating and sending invoices, recording customer payments, and following up on outstanding balances to keep cash flow steady.
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts regularly in QuickBooks to ensure all transactions related to payables, receivables, and payroll are accurate and up to date.
Process payroll for 7 employees in QuickBooks, including calculating wages, withholding taxes, and ensuring timely direct deposits or checks.
File and track payroll taxes and compliance (federal, state, and local), including quarterly and annual filings, to stay compliant with regulations.
Generate and review financial reports (such as profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow) to monitor business performance and support decision-making.
This position is contract to hire, onsite and would be with a small group. The ideal candidate would have QuickBooks experience, 3+ years of accounting and payroll experience, excellent communication skills and able to work on site. If you feel this is the job for you, apply today!
