Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Bachelor-level Intern pursuing a degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. This internship is unpaid and provides hands‑on experience in a supportive, supervised environment where interns will gain practical skills while learning professional standards and ethical practices in human services. Minimum Qualifications and experience Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field Basic understanding of human behavior, mental health, or social services Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries Reliable, responsible, and eager to learn Ability to work a flexible schedule Minimum skills and knowledge Strong interpersonal and communication skills Organizational and time‑management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong computer skills Experience with systems (e.g. DMH, DPH, DCF) preferred but not required Experience working with youth and families preferred but not required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Skills with spoken and written languages are desirable but not required Duties and Responsibilities Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions Collaborate closely and effectively with all other members of the team. Participate in quality improvement and assurance projects related to the program.
