Job Opportunity

No prior experience required. Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Receive payment by cash, credit cards, gift cards or vouchers
• Ensure guest compliance with the park's meal plan policies, including verifying eligibility and addressing misuse when necessary
• Proper handling, storage and organization of all receipts
• Upselling products to offer the best experience at the park
• Excellent cash handling skills, making transactions can be fast, friendly, and fun
• Maintain product levels at assigned station; this may include chips, straws, condiments, cutlery, napkins and more
• Follow opening & closing procedures in assigned outlets, maintaining cleanliness standards
• Prepare quick service food and beverage items
• Assist with catering events, including setup, serving food and clean up
• Expedite prepared orders from the kitchen to the customer
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and team members
• Wash dishes following sanitation guidelines
• Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite, enthusiastic and expedient manner
• Assist customers with questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark
• Follow Park policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications include:

• Must be at least 15 years of age
• Ability to count money and make correct change
• Ability to operate a computer and computer software programs
• Ability to accept guidance and supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership
• Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
• Ability to work in indoor and shaded outdoor weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection

Physical requirements include:

• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift, carry, move and/or position items weighing up to 55 pounds

We also offer a retention bonus of up to $500 for team members that average a certain number of hours per week during the qualifying time period and work through a specified date. Details about eligibility requirements for the Retention Bonus will be provided at a later date.
